RE: HRAP POSITION PAPER ON IMPLEMENTATION GAPS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF DISCOUNTS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND [ERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Dear HRAP Members
May we inform you that HRAP has been invited on several instances by the Committee on Ways and Means to joint meetings with the Committee on Senior Citizens and Special Committee on Persons with Disabilities headed by Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda.
Agenda of these meetings is about the implementation gaps regarding Republic Act No. 7277 as amended and Republic Act No. 9994 as amended and policies that provide discounts, incentives and tax exemptions for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
Further, HRAP was requested to submit a position paper on this matter. For your info and reference, we attached here our official position paper submitted to the House for your records.
